Directions to Our Offices Department of Administration One Capitol Hill Providence, RI 02908 State Operator: 401-222-2000 TTY: 401-222-1227 How to get to One Capitol Hill - Department of Administration (Also known as the Powers Building) From the North: Take I-95 to Providence. Take exit 22. Take a left at the light (north, toward the State House). Take a left where the road ends at the State House lawn. This road ends in front of your destination. Take a left and a quick right to head to the parking lots behind the building. The entrances are on the north & east sides. From the South: Take I-95 to Providence. Take exit 23 (marked State House offices). Follow the road straight after the lights at the end of the ramp to get to the parking lots behind the Capitol Hill buildings. The Adminstration Building is the large building made of pink granite. The entrances are on the north & east sides. From the East: Take I-195 to Providence. Get on I-95 north. Follow the directions for "from the south". From the West: That depends. If you are coming from the north west you will take I-146 south to Providence and then follow the directions for "from the north" because it will end at I-95. If you are truly coming from the west you would be on Route 6 east which will merge with Route 10 and end, as a highway at the light near the State House. Then you would follow the directions for "from the north".
