Request to Inspect and/or Copy Public Records The Department of Administration is committed to transparency and open government. Many records are available online through the Department’s or individual Divisions’ websites. State employee payroll information can be found on the RI State Employee Payroll Search portal. Use the RI Transparency Portal Expenditures Search to browse payments by fiscal year, agency, payee, and program. Contracts that exceed $1 million in value and were competitively bid can be found here. The DOA APRA Portal includes a searchable database of all public record responses as of July 15, 2022. If the information you seek is related to the RI Department of Administration’s operation but is not readily available through the websites above, you may make an Access to Public Records Act (APRA) request. Per RIGL section 38-2-1 et seq., APRA requires public agencies to provide access to public records.
